i’ve never been in love like this before. i am happier than i have ever been and i can’t even explain what that feels like. i have someone to come home to every day, someone that will make me dinner, snuggle with me, or give me a massage. i’m finally happy and i want the world to know.

i had always thought that this would never happen for me, but i just want everyone out there to know that there is a time for everything. let it happen, don’t force anything that doesn’t feel natural, and doesn’t mistake friendship for anything more than that. love is unique, and it doesn’t come often. so when it does, take a leap of faith. believe in yourself, and what your heart is telling you to do

Was probably the summer that I’ll remember best of all. This was the summer I fell in love with my best friend, and got my heart broken. Nearly a year later, my heart still aches for the lost love, but mostly just for the best friend that I lost. To this day, I don’t understand how you can say the words “I love you”, or say that you will always be there for someone, when they are untrue. You said to me that you don’t say you love people lightly, but apparently it was. I finally understand that it wasn’t that I wasn’t good enough for you, you just weren’t ready and that’s okay. I guess I’ll always wonder and hope that maybe someday you will be ready, or even if I could just get my best friend back.
